A Bermuda Interlude by Owen Merton
On through to August 2024 at Bermuda National Gallery
A selection of the landscapes painted by New Zealand watercolourist Owen Merton (1887–1931) during his year of residence on the island in 1922 are on display in this landmark show. This remarkable series is being aired in Bermuda for the first time.

The show includes works by Bermudian artists Robert Bassett, Norman Lewis, Charles Lloyd Tucker, Robert Barritt, and Bill Ming. It brings together a selection of mixed-media pieces from the BNG's permanent collection and community loans.

Gherdai Hassell, a Bermudian multi-media artist is bringing her latest textile and collage pieces to the Bermuda National Gallery for her show Threads Unravelling. She is a visual artist who continues to explore language and history as a means of interpreting identity.
